This course equips California Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE) administrators with the advanced knowledge and practical tools needed to prevent, identify, and respond to elder abuse within their communities. Recognizing that elder abuse is both a devastating personal tragedy and a critical compliance risk, the curriculum goes beyond basic reporting requirements to address the systemic, cultural, and operational factors that can either foster or prevent abuse.
