Karissa Yson Rischall, MBA

Karissa Yson Rischall, MBA, is the founder of 123ceu.com, a California state-approved vendor providing continuing education to RCFE administrators and staff. With over 15 years of varied experience in marketing, consulting, and business strategy, Karissa brings her expertise full circle through her deep-rooted background in RCFE. Her platform not only delivers state-of-the-art, compliant training but also serves as a hub for impactful resources that empower RCFE administrators to stay at the forefront of industry standards and excellence in senior care.

Growing up in a family of entrepreneurs, RCFE administrators, and nurses, Karissa developed an intimate understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in senior care. She later served as an RCFE Administrator for over eight years, where she gained hands-on experience in facility operations, compliance, and resident care.

Driven by a data-informed approach, she identified systemic inefficiencies and applied evidence-based strategies to design and implement scalable, tailored solutions that address both operational and regulatory complexities.


Karissa’s professional background includes marketing leadership roles at luxury hotels where she achieved measurable impact. With her branding firm, KYMBA, she spearheaded national marketing campaigns for prestigious brands like The Ritz-Carlton Residences, generating over $20 million in revenue, and developed high-impact e-commerce solutions that contributed to double-digit growth for Fortune 500 clients. Additionally, she collaborated with multidisciplinary teams, including researchers and compliance experts, to design innovative, regulatory-compliant strategies. Her work with physicians informed actionable solutions for complex industry challenges, directly improving business outcomes.


Karissa holds an MBA in Marketing and a bachelor’s degree in International Business from Woodbury University in Burbank, CA. Her results-driven approach, coupled with her expertise in business strategy, technology, and compliance, continues to empower RCFE professionals to deliver high-quality care while achieving operational excellence.
