Individual Treatment Plan Implementation
This course equips direct care staff in Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Programs (STRTP) with the essential skills and knowledge to effectively implement individual treatment plans for youth in their care. Caregivers will learn how to interpret treatment plans, understand therapeutic goals, and carry out daily interventions that align with each youth’s unique needs. The course emphasizes practical strategies for monitoring progress, collecting and documenting behavioral data, and recognizing when treatment plans may require adjustments. Participants will also develop effective communication techniques to share observations and updates with the broader treatment team, ensuring coordinated and person-centered care.
Designed specifically for STRTP caregivers in California, this training is grounded in the latest Title 22 regulations and integrates federal compliance standards. The content is presented in clear, accessible language, focusing on real-world scenarios and best practices that support youth safety, growth, and well-being. By the end of the course, caregivers will feel confident in their ability to support individualized treatment goals, contribute to positive outcomes, and fulfill their regulatory responsibilities.
