40-Hour Initial Training - Direct Care Staff

Our 40-hour initial training program, mandated by California Title 22 regulations for Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly (RCFE), equips new caregivers with essential foundational skills. The curriculum covers critical areas such as resident care, dementia and memory care, medication management, and Title 22 compliance. This comprehensive training ensures new caregivers are well-prepared to deliver high-quality care while meeting state requirements.

State Requirements

40 hours of training for new caregivers, as mandated by Title 22. Includes a guide to help RCFE admisnitrators  with 16 hours of hands-on training with new care staff to be completed in the first four weeks of employment.

Pre-Service Training

20 hours must be completed before caregivers work independently, including:
